1. Definitions

“Company” refers to LJM GLOBAL LOGISTICS LTD
“Customer” refers to the person or business using our services
“Goods” refers to items submitted for shipment

2. Services

LJM GLOBAL LOGISTICS LTD provides:

  • Sea freight services
  • Air cargo services
  • Road transport services
  • Cargo consolidation

All services are subject to availability and operational conditions.

3. Booking and Acceptance

  • All shipments must be properly declared
  • The Company reserves the right to refuse any goods
  • Goods are accepted only after inspection

4. Prohibited Goods

The following items are strictly prohibited:

  • Illegal goods
  • Weapons and ammunition
  • Flammable or hazardous materials
  • Perishable goods
  • Any items restricted by UK or destination country laws

The Customer is responsible for ensuring compliance.

5. Packaging

  • Customers must ensure goods are properly packed
  • The Company may reject poorly packed items
  • LJM boxes are recommended for safety

The Company is not responsible for damage due to inadequate packaging.

6. Payment Terms

  • Full payment must be made before shipment
  • Prices are subject to change without notice
  • Additional charges may apply for overweight items

7. Shipping and Delivery

  • Delivery times are estimates only (typically 4–8 weeks)
  • The Company is not responsible for delays caused by:
  • Customs
  • Port authorities
  • Weather conditions
  • Shipping line delays

8. Customs and Duties

  • The Customer is responsible for all customs duties and taxes
  • The Company is not liable for customs inspections or delays

9. Liability

LJM GLOBAL LOGISTICS LTD:

  • Is not liable for loss or damage unless proven negligent
  • Is not responsible for fragile items unless properly declared
  • Is not liable for indirect or consequential losses

Compensation, if applicable, is limited to a reasonable declared value.

10. Insurance

  • Insurance is not included unless requested
  • Customers are advised to insure valuable goods

11. Loss or Damage Claims

  • Claims must be made within 7 days of delivery
  • Claims must include proof of value and evidence

12. Unclaimed Goods

  • Goods not collected may incur storage charges
  • After a reasonable period, goods may be disposed of

13. Cancellation

  • Bookings cannot be cancelled once shipment has commenced
  • Refunds are at the Company’s discretion

14. Force Majeure

The Company is not responsible for failure or delay due to:

  • Natural disasters
  • War
  • Strikes
  • Government restrictions

15. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.

16. Acceptance

By using our services, the Customer agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
